PRACTITONER WORKSHOPMassage Workshop

Massage is one of the most natural ways to reduce stress and maintain health. It helps restore balance to the body, relieve pain and increase energy.

This workshop will include:

  • Introduction to massage techniques
  • Hand Massage
  • Back Massage

Aromatherapy WorkshopAromatherapy Workshop

Discover the ancient art of Aromatherapy. Using blended oils in a massage combines the sense of smell with the healing component of touch promoting good health and emotional well-being.

This workshop will include:

  • Brief outline on the history of Aromatherapy
  • Introduction to oils, their uses, precautions and safety
  • Aromatherapy face and back massage sequence.

Date: Saturday 13th March 2010 (10.30am-4.30pm)

Indian Head Massage WorkshopIndian Head Massage Workshop

This therapy is easy to learn and can be carried out with your partner clothed. It is a quick way of helping a partner to relax or feel revived.

This workshop will include:

  • Brief history of Indian Head Massage
  • Practical massage demonstration and practise time
  • on back of neck; upper back; shoulder; scalp; face; arms

Date: Sunday 24th January 2010 (10.30am-4.30pm)

Reflexology WorkshopReflexology Workshop

Everyone can benefit from this deceptively, simple and yet effective therapy. Reflexology is a wonderful way to relax and this workshop will introduce you to the basic techniques for use at home.

This workshop will include:

  • Introduction to foot massage and finding reflex points on the feet
  • Demonstration and practise of a basic treatment for relaxation

Date: Sunday 21st March 2010 (10.30am-4.30pm)

Making Natural Creams and Cosmetics at Home
Are you concerned about preservatives and other chemicals in commercial cosmetics? Would you like to make products from natural ingredients? This one-day workshop is open to all and will use recipes which are easy to follow at home. We will identify chemicals causing concern and beneficial substitutes.
We will make:

  • an infused herbal oil for massage
  • 3 types of face creams
  • a choice of :- face pack, toner, body scrub, lip balm, toothpaste, bath bombs, insect repellent, foot powder

There are more recipes to take home and you can exchange a relaxing face massage if you wish.
