The WMA was founded in 1993 to fulfil the need for continued support once graduates move into practice. Practitioners are able to consolidate relationships with colleagues and mutually support those with whom they share the same ethos.

Practitioners who complete a course at the School of Complementary Health are invited to join the WMA, a professional organisation that promotes complementary health and members’ practices, via a register on the school’s web-site, and association meetings, (members sign a Code of Conduct and provide evidence of qualifications and insurance cover). Only full members are entitled to have a listing on the “Find a Therapist” page.

The School of Complementary Health hosts the WMA. The twice-yearly meetings include a variety of therapies, workshop sessions, speakers, demonstrations and exchange of professional news.

External membership of the WMA is open to non-graduates of the School. Full membership is available after twelve months.

Costs: Associate membership £15.00
Full membership £20.00 + £10 initial set up fee on register

  • Suzanne Jeffery - Dentistry & Illness
